Questions to ask Business Central
Month-end close checklist for Business Central
Twelve steps, with Bee Solved helping you at every one.
A month-end close in Business Central works best in the same order every time: get everything posted, reconcile the bank and the ledgers, adjust stock and currency, post accruals, check VAT or sales tax, review the balances, then lock the period.
Bee Solved, the AI Assistant for Business Central, helps you do it. For each of the 12 steps below you get the standard Business Central page, and the question to ask Bee Solved so it does the checking for you. It works in Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot, with the asking person’s own permissions, and links each answer to its records.

Questions
How does Bee Solved help with the close?
It does the checking at each step: what is stuck, what is unmatched, what is out, and what looks wrong. If your administrator has switched on AI changes, it can also prepare entries for a person to confirm. Your team still posts and locks the period in Business Central.
Does it use my permissions?
Yes. It works as the signed-in person, with their Business Central permissions, so it only sees what they are allowed to see.
Is the currency gain or loss figure final?
No. The figure at today’s rate is an estimate. Business Central’s own figure is what Adjust Exchange Rates posts.
