Business Central answers

How do I see which customers are overdue in Business Central?

The short answer

In standard Business Central:

  1. Run the Aged Accounts Receivable report, or open Customer Ledger Entries.
  2. Filter on Open entries with a Due Date before today.
  3. For a quick view, the Customers list also shows Balance Due (LCY).

This works, but you set up the filters each time and read the figures across several screens.

The faster way

With Bee Solved, the AI Assistant for Business Central, you ask the question in plain English instead of setting up filters and reports.

Which customers are overdue, and by how much?

From posted entries3 customers are overdue:
Customer A12,40034 days
Customer B6,15021 days
Customer C2,9809 days

You get each customer’s overdue balance and days overdue, worked out from posted entries, with links to the entries behind each figure. You can then follow up with “Draft reminder emails for the top five” and carry on from the same answer.

Bee Solved works in Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot. It signs in as the person asking, uses their Business Central permissions, and links every answer back to the records behind it.

Questions

Can it chase overdue customers for me?

It drafts collection emails for a person to check and send. Nothing is sent on its own.

Does it use my permissions?

Yes. It works as the signed-in person, with their Business Central permissions, so it only sees what they are allowed to see.

Where do the figures come from?

From posted customer ledger entries in your Business Central, with links so you can check any figure.
