Business Central answers

How do I see what we owe suppliers this month?

The short answer

In standard Business Central:

  1. Run the Aged Accounts Payable report, or open Vendor Ledger Entries.
  2. Filter on Open entries with a Due Date in this month.
  3. Widen the date filter to include earlier due dates if you also want to see what is already overdue.

You then total the entries by vendor yourself, or read them off the report.

The faster way

With Bee Solved, the AI Assistant for Business Central, you ask the whole question at once in plain English.

What do we owe our vendors this month, and what’s already overdue?

From posted entries
Vendor X18,600due 28 Nov
Vendor Y7,240due 15 Nov
Vendor Z3,100overdue 6 days

You get totals by vendor and due date, with links to the entries behind each one. What is already overdue is shown alongside what falls due later in the month, so you can see where to start. You can follow up with another question, such as which vendors are due next week.
